The Salomon Oasis ("Sweepstakes") begins on Dec 15, 2004, and ends April 1, 2005("Promotion Period"). Sweepstakes sponsored by Salomon North America, Inc., 5055 N. Greeley Avenue, Portland, OR 97217 ("Sponsor").
1. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all legal residents of Canada and the United States including Washington, D.C.,. Employees (including immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each) of Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, you must log onto the www.salomonoasis.com web site. Fully complete the Official Entry Form online by filling in your name, address, telephone number and age, and submit online or on site at Oasis events. To be eligible, all online entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on April 1st, 2005. Entry is by Official Online Entry Form or onsite at Oasis resorts. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late or illegible entries, technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors or problems which may limit a participant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel the Sweepstakes, should any computer virus, malfunction or other cause beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. False or deceptive entries or acts will render an entrant ineligible. All entries become the property of Sponsor. Limit one (1) entry per person.
3. HOW TO WIN: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The random drawing will take place on each Monday following Oasis events from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential winner will be notified by mail or by phone within 6-10 weeks of the drawing and must meet all eligibility requirements, and execute and return all necessary releases. Each week for all 10 Oasis events one (1) Salomon ski (retail value TBD by Salomon) or one (1) Salomon Snowboard (retail value TBD by Salomon) . Salomon North America reserves the right to fulfill their awards based on current stock at the time of the drawing.
4. GENERAL: Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of comparable or greater value should the featured prize become unavailable. No transfer or substitutions of prize. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. Winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, and Publicity Release, except where prohibited by law, within five (5) days of issuance of first attempted notification. Failure to comply or (i) return of any prize / prize notification as undeliverable, (ii) Potential winner declines his or her prize or (iii) the potential winner is unable to travel on dates specified by Sponsor or (iv) if potential winner is determined to be ineligible, will result in disqualification of such potential winner and an alternate potential winner may be selected by random drawing at the Sponsor's discretion. By entering this Sweepstakes, you accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relative to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make misrepresentations relative to the Sweepstakes and redemption of prizes. Participation constitutes permission to use the your name, photograph and/or voice recording for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Sweepstakes should unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond the Sponsor's control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of this Sweepstakes. By entering, you release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for entries, claims or notices that are lost, late, illegible, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or incorrect. Sponsor is not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors and may rescind, cancel or revoke the promotion based upon any such error without liability at Sponsors' sole discretion. AS TO THE PRIZES AWARDED IN THIS PROMOTION, SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITHOUT LIMITATION.
6. INDIVIDUAL ENTRY ONLY: Each entry must be submitted only by the entrant, and only at the authorized web site address of www.salomonoasis.com or on site at the Oasis events. Entries submitted by any other individual or any entity originating at any other Internet web site or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and, as such, ruled ineligible for this promotion.
